This unusual structure is called the Tree-of-Life pattern. Each of the ten circles--called sefirah in the singular and sefirot in the plural--has a name and at least one definition.
The key works by placing each verse number in a circle. For example, 1 Nephi 1:1-10 will go in the first tree pattern. Verse numbers 11-20 fit into the next tree pattern, and so on until the final verse number of the Book of Mormon completes the final tree pattern. The value of this key is twofold:
1) to reveal the complex nature of the Book of Mormon
2) and to provide a new way of reading the scriptures.
Both of which will provide evidence that Joseph Smith is not the writer of this book.
